Radar-Soft company is developing the OLAP controls for different
platforms for using in the Business Intelligence class applications or any other
having to do with multidimensional data analysis.
Our first OLAP component for Delphi and C++ Builder was published in March 2003
and was called HierCube Library. Since that time the HierCube VCL
has been constantly developing and today we can offer the stable and time-proved
solution for VCL programmers.
But time doesn't stand still, and neither do we. After a while be began developing
completely new product named RadarCube. Having all our background
with HierCube, and considering most of the HierCube requests from our user, we tried
to make RadarCube an up-to-date and comfortable OLAP solution.
Now RadarCube available for all platforms including .NET Windows Forms and ASP.NET
and provides two OLAP solutions for every platform:
- "Desktop
" version allows connecting directly to a database to gain OLAP cube information.
- "MSAS
" version is a comfortable client for Microsoft Analysis Services, which doesn't
collect OLAP cube information itself but rather requests it from a MS AS server.
The internal structure of RadarCube supports most of the elements represented in
MS Analysis 2005, and, thank to that, we could use the same core for both versions
"Desktop" and "MSAS". They use identical interface, which supports all OLAP operations
like pivoting, drilling, cube filtering, and so on.
Now our OLAP controls meet the needs of OLAP developers in both OLAP functionality
and performance.
