New in the release:

  1. Lazy loading parent-child hierarchy. The parent-child hierarchies are now loaded by levels, not necessarily in whole;
  2. Computing of some statistic functions improved. Now there are functions that count the empty cells as well;
  3. The behavior on the dataset change is improved a bit;
  4. New events TOLAPAnalysis.VM_AxisLayout.SelectedBackColorChanged and TOLAPAnalysis.VM_AxisLayout.SelectedForeColorChanged;
  5. Demo application: New "Data Source" example shows how to work with an untyped dataset;
  6. Demo application: New "Dynamic Analysis" example shows how to manage the value-dependent coloring programmatically.

Bugs fixed:

  1. When adding a new tab view (OLAPSlice) the position of the measure on X-axis is lost.

Bugs fixed:

  1. The command "Expand all nodes" does not always expand all the members in the multilevel hierarchies. It might not if the hierarchy members contain the same child nodes;
  2. The expansion state of a multilevel hierarchy may not be saved in the Direct edition;
  3. Export operation may fail after changing AnalysisType if the number of filters and modifiers exceeds the number of records in the OLAP-slice;
  4. Errors might show up when working with some large databases.

  1. New control TOLAPAnalysis allows to show the OLAP slices as a Grid or as a Chart. For backward compatibility TOLAPGrid and TOLAPChart controls are now heirs from TOLAPAnalysis. In the new projects we recommend to always use TOLAPAnalysis. See details in the article on the matter;
  2. New button added to define a measure position;
  3. New modifier can change the text size depending on the measure value.

  3. TMDCube control cannot be activated in design-time;
  4. In the mode of gmQueryResult the tree and pivot panels are now empty;
  5. Legend export to Excel 2003-2007 does not work;
  6. On print preview the legend is shown on a separate page.

  4. When deleting a hierarchy from the filters it is also removed from AxisLayout.Pages;
  5. TOLAPCube: A cube now uses the property TOLAPCube.AutoInitAdaptors to automatically find and fill TableAdaptors. The property is true by default.

  1. Series types do not switch on the first toolbar click.

  1. TOLAPCube. Now it is possible to read the data from a database and set your own converter for the data in the DataConverter event handler. The demo application shows some examples of image reading ("Image Reader" and other);
  2. TOLAPGrid now allows to set up how the content is displayed within the cells of the OLAP-slice using templates and template selectors;
  3. TOLAPChart. Images in the legend of chart axes (see the example "Chart With Images");
  4. On exporting to the image format the legend can also be exported. (See the property Grid.OLAPExport.Options.ShowLegend);
  5. TOLAPChart. Now it is possible to edit the gradient for the modifying the measures with chart colors;
  6. New flexible pivot panels. The panel layout can be set up in run-time or design-time. For more details see the description of the example "Pivot Panels Docking";
  7. Some redundant properties hidden in the TOLAPCube and TMDCube controls.

Changes/Bugs:

  1. TOLAPCube. Design-time Cube Editor improved ("Edit Cube" button in the property editor);
  2. TMDCube. Design-time connection editor improved (ConnectionString property in the property editor).

  1. Sometimes hierarchy members can mistakenly take its Open/Closed state from the other members;
